Job summary

Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club in Mid-Beach offers a dynamic Event Sales role focused on selling and servicing events for in-house groups and outside clients. The Catering Manager coordinates menu planning, site inspections and hotel services to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong client relationships, while collaborating with sales and catering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 1 year food and beverage experience.
• Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
• Developed business communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding/knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM system, i.e. Delphi, Daylight and/or brand CRM such as Marriott CI/TY or Starwood ISAC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales action plans to close on targeted accounts within a market segment.
• Respond to incoming sales inquiries within 4 hours of receipt.
• Maintain a balance of account maintenance and prospecting for new business.
• Solicit, negotiate and confirm new and repeat business to maximize revenues.
• Plan function details with hotel departments to meet client needs and budget.
• Provide forecasting information for rolling forecast and sales activity.
