Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Catering Sales Manager to join our team at DT Hollywood Beach. You will drive group sales, expand the client base, and deliver exceptional service across catering events.

The role requires hospitality sales experience, ability to negotiate contracts, and strong communication skills. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for career growth and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School education required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in hotel or conference catering/sales.

Responsibilities

• Learn the hotel brand and strategy; drive customer loyalty to grow share of the account by delivering service excellence.
• Identify and solicit new accounts via telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries via email/phone/in person.
• Advise clients on hotel facilities and services when proposing groups/events.
• Establish client base of organizations, associations, and corporate businesses through direct sales to secure business.
• Negotiate F&B, function space, room rates, and services to meet revenue goals; achieve sales targets.
• Negotiate contracts according to company standards.
• Ensure all solicitation, closing and communications are documented.
• Conduct hotel and banquet facility tours; entertain qualified clients per policy; respond to RFPs promptly.
• Meet/exceed sales goals; monitor local competitors; complete reports as directed; participate in business/marketing plans; assist budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
