Job summary

Aramark Corporation, via LifeWorks Restaurant Group in Austin, TX, seeks a Catering Services Director to lead culinary and event experiences, oversee the full catering operation, and balance creativity with operational and financial stewardship.

You will supervise teams, develop menus and pricing, manage events from booking to cleanup, drive marketing efforts, and ensure service standards while meeting sales, food, and labor targets across multiple catering operations.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of experience.
• Requires at least 1-3 years of experience in a management role.
• Previous experience in events and catering required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Available to work event-based hours.
• Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total catering operations including events, supervising teams, menu costing, pricing, hiring and admin.
• Oversee preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations.
• Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain client and customer rapport.
• Create annual catering marketing plan including collateral, sales strategies, and budgets.
• Set service and presentation standards and ensure compliance and consistency.
• Launch new services to grow base business and client retention.
• Stay informed on catering trends and advise clients and staff.
