Job summary

Aramark seeks a Catering Services Director to lead multi-location catering operations, oversee a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional events and client experiences. The role drives financial performance, develops strategies, and manages departmental budgets across locations in Milpitas, CA.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in catering or events, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of experience in catering or events.
• Management experience of teams and operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering operations, including booking events, supervising teams, and managing menus and pricing.
• Oversee prep, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations.
• Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs.
• Develop and maintain strong client rapport.
• Create and execute an annual marketing plan for catering, including collateral and budgets.
• Set service and presentation standards and processes to ensure compliance.
• Launch new services to grow the base business and retain clients.
• Advise clients and staff on catering trends.
• Facilitate delivery of food from banquet orders.
• Assist in sales, contract negotiations, and planning events.
• Train and lead staff to uphold catering standards.
• Set and achieve sales, food, and labor targets.
• Execute catering events of varying size including staffing.
• Manage accounting for catering revenue, expenses, and receivables.
• Ensure food, safety, and environmental compliance.
