Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Catering Services Director to lead catering operations across multiple units, supervise the catering team, plan events, and manage budgets and financial goals. This role focuses on delivering high-quality service, coordinating menus, and driving growth for a large catering program.

The position requires strong leadership, customer management, and a track record in events and catering, with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of experience in catering or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a management role.
• Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total catering operations including booking events, supervising teams, menu costing, pricing, hiring, and administration.
• Oversee preparation, service, and cleanup for multiple catering operations.
• Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and rapport with customers.
• Lead annual marketing planning for catering, including collateral and budgets.
• Set service and presentation standards, ensure compliance and consistency.
• Introduce new services to support growth and client retention.
• Advise clients on current catering trends and products.
• Facilitate delivery of prepared food from banquet orders.
• Support sales process and contract negotiations for events.
• Train and lead catering staff to meet standards.
• Set and deliver sales, food, and labor targets.
