Job summary

Advantage-Solutions is seeking a Category Insights Senior Analyst to act as a key analytics resource for national clients with $20M+ in retail sales in a regional market. You will deliver consumer and marketplace insights and partner with the Category Analytics & Insights and sales teams to diagnose business problems and drive growth.

Working with a regional office, you will identify data needs, conduct business data analysis, and create ad hoc and standard reports to enable actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; certification in Category Management a plus.
• 3–5 years of CPG or retail data analytics experience.
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic insights from multiple data sources to inform plans and client opportunities.
• Develop retail trade and promotional analysis to support sales teams.
• Create in-market reports and business reviews; manage project timelines.
• Mentor and guide junior BI analysts in data analysis and reporting.
