Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking a Category Insights Senior Analyst to serve as a pivotal analytics resource for national clients with $20M+ in retail sales, partnering with Category Analytics & Insights and sales teams to diagnose business problems and drive growth.

You will collaborate with a regional sales office, identify reporting needs, conduct data analysis, and create ad hoc and standardized reports using NIQ, Circana, and other datasets to shape actionable insights for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; certification in Category Management a plus
• 3 to 5 years of CPG or retail data analytics experience
• Travel requirement: No regular travel expected

Responsibilities

• Strategic insights: monitor business, deliver market data and inform plan adjustments.
• Trade & pricing: develop retail trade & promotional analyses to support the sales team.
• Business reviews & market assessments: provide insights from multiple sources for line reviews and client selling opportunities.
• Project management: prioritize and manage project schedules, coordinate activities, resolve issues.
• Client/partner: build strong relationships and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
