Morrison Express is seeking a Transportation Manager to source and onboard asset-based carriers, negotiate multi-modal freight, and manage contracts and compliance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, 3+ years in domestic transportation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, excellent organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years related experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in domestic transportation management/logistics.
• Excellent computer knowledge, Office proficiency.
• Experience with transportation procurement platforms preferred.
• Strong time management and multitasking in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Source and onboard asset-based carriers.
• Negotiate multi-modal transport including High Value TL and LTL.
• Identify preferred carriers by services and manage routing guides.
• Manage carrier contracts and renewals; review service agreements.
• Ensure compliance: insurance, operating authorities, drivers, on-time deliveries.
• Handle billing and reporting compliance; carrier review process.
• Evaluate carrier performance and update Veroot data.
• Communicate new carrier info regionally and coordinate with trans-ops teams.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes regionally; strive for cost savings.
