Responsibilities

• Manage carrier relationships to negotiate rates and secure load coverage.
• Establish, grow, and manage a network of carriers via lead generation, cold calling, and referrals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, transportation providers, drivers, and stakeholders through proactive communication.
• Work with carrier base to drive the use of U.S. Xpress digital and automated systems.
• Monitor carrier performance to maintain high level of service.
• Sourcing new business opportunities and provide market feedback to procurement.
