Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Carrier Procurement Manager in New Jersey to lead domestic, multi-modal RFPs and strategic carrier management for our 4PL and non-asset services.

You will drive bid processes, analyze data, negotiate rates, and align with internal teams and clients to secure value and compliance. A strong background in transportation pricing and procurement platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree is preferred.
• 7+ years of transportation operations experience with a proven track record.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, analytical, and financial skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual domestic multi-modal RFPs across national and regional networks.
• Execute mini-bids to resolve routing failures and seasonal spikes.
• Define sourcing timelines, bid rules, and scoring weights for client SLAs.
• Audit data to ensure bid integrity and high carrier participation.
• Manage bid communications, Q&A windows, and multi-round bidding events.
• Deliver data-backed executive guidance to secure bid awards.
