NFI is seeking a Director of Carrier Management & Procurement in New Jersey to oversee carrier performance, procurement strategy, and customer pricing across our non-asset network. You will drive governance, refine qualification processes, and manage the end-to-end carrier lifecycle to deliver value and premium service levels.

The candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance, and collaborate with operations, analytics, and client engagement to optimize costs and route guide

Competenze

• BA or BS Degree preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in transportation operations.
• Familiar with transportation concepts, practices and procedures.
• Experience with direction, coordination and evaluation of department.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate visions and values.
• Ability to plan, organize, analyze, and manage finances.

Mansioni

• Maintain and strengthen carrier relationships and identify strategic partnerships.
• Lead and scale a multidisciplinary procurement and carrier management team.
• Develop and oversee SOPs and onboarding plans for customers.
• Monitor carrier KPIs and trigger performance reviews or corrective actions.
