Job summary

High Transit LLC seeks a Carrier Relationship Manager to match external carrier assets with internal demand in Denver, PA. The role reports to the Transportation Manager and is a first-shift, Monday–Friday position.

Responsibilities include developing a qualified carrier base, negotiating rates, tendering loads, and tracking variances to keep projects on time and on budget. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or related field with a minimum of ten years related, progressive experience.
• Experience negotiating transportation contracts and rates, with understanding of insurance requirements.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances while weighing internal/external implications.

Responsibilities

• Develop a qualified carrier base and secure contracts with providers.
• Negotiate rates with carriers at or below estimated cost per load.
• Tender loads daily to carriers and administer rate confirmations.
• Track variances and resolve issues from loads to project managers.
• Coordinate shipments and supervise dispatching and routing activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hours of service, and regulatory requirements.
