Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years of carrier interaction or procurement experience preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Skilled at building and managing carrier relationships.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Managers to understand growth opportunities, at-risk freight, profit improvement areas, and forecasted needs.
• Negotiate, coordinate, and book trucks efficiently while protecting profitability.
• Resolve carrier-related escalations and support ongoing carrier retention.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing carriers to identify, develop, and implement capacity solutions.
• Partner with other Account Capacity Leads to share opportunities and develop strategic carrier solutions.
• Work with Strategic Sourcing to identify and secure new capacity.
• Partner with Account Managers, Strategic Sourcing, and Pricing to support carrier strategy for bids.
• Track and trace customer shipments
• Coordinate accessorial requests and approvals.
