Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Market Director of Cardiovascular Services in Springfield, IL. This role leads operational activities across the cardiovascular service line to maximize quality, growth, and fiscal responsibility within the market ministries.

The candidate will collaborate with local and shared services leadership and service line physicians, oversee cardiovascular areas including procedures, rehab, and diagnostics, and ensure safety, efficiency, and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, business or healthcare administration is required.
• Master’s degree in nursing, radiologic technology, allied health, applied science, business or healthcare administration is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in cardiovascular services is required.
• 3 years of leadership experience is required.
• Licensure as RN or Radiographer or CV-related cardiovascular registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and guidance to operational activities within the cardiovascular services market to maximize quality, growth, and profitability.
• Collaborate with service line physicians/providers and local/shared leadership on operations planning, service development, marketing, quality, and patient safety.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate cardiovascular services leadership for efficiency, effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility.

Education
