Job summary

Freeman Health System is seeking a Director of the Cardiovascular Service Line to provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership across inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care. You will partner with physician leaders, nursing, and hospital administration to drive quality, patient experience, growth, and financial performance across multiple sites.

The role requires 5–10 years in healthcare operations leadership, with at least 3 years in cardiovascular or related fields, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• Master's degree in MHA, MBA, or MSN preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, including at least 3 years in cardiovascular, cardiac surgery, vascular, or a comparable complex procedural service line.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operating leader for the cardiology service line.
• Partner in a physician-administrator dyad with the Service Line Medical Director to set and execute service line strategy.
• Develop multi-year service line growth plans, including program development and market expansion.
• Own the service line's annual operating and capital budgets; monitor volumes, revenue, expense, and productivity.
• Oversee daily operations of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and vascular labs, imaging and rehab programs.
• Lead service line quality, safety, and patient experience initiatives with clinical leaders.
• Drive physician engagement and alignment strategies across cardiology and vascular surgery.
