Senior Director, Cardiovascular Services

We’ve partnered with a multi-hospital non-profit health system and physician enterprise in the South to recruit a Senior Director, Cardiovascular Services. Our client seeks an operational leader with an executive presence, industry knowledge, and success in the ambulatory setting. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who collaborates effectively with physicians. This role involves managing 25 cardiologists and 30 APPs across 6 clinics and 4 outreach clinics, with 6 direct reports: RN Director of Clinical Operations, RN Director of Practice Operations, APP overseeing CV Surgery at two locations, APP Lead, Business Manager, and Project Manager/Operations Manager.

Reporting to the VP & COO of the Physician Enterprise, this executive will be responsible for the strategy, operational, and financial management of CV Services. Key responsibilities include recruiting new providers, physician compensation, improving patient flow and experience, enhancing operations in the scheduling call center, and building out the cardiovascular service line structure. This role offers significant growth opportunities through adding services and improving access and practice volumes.
