Job summary

Etegent Technologies is seeking a Capture Manager to identify, qualify, and shape new business opportunities across the DoD, IC, and commercial markets, with a focus on AI/ML, computer vision, and advanced software solutions.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will lead pre-RFP capture activities and collaborate with technical leadership, proposal teams, and partners to develop winning strategies, ensuring smooth transition from capture to proposal and maintaining an accurate

Qualifications

• 5+ years in federal business development or capture management.
• Experience supporting DoD and/or Intelligence Community customers.
• Technical background in AI/ML, computer vision, software engineering, or advanced analytics.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes.
• Experience shaping opportunities prior to RFP release.
• Proven ability to engage and build trusted relationships with customers and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and DoD/IC spaces that result in new opportunities.
• Identify and assess new opportunities aligned with growth strategy.
• Lead opportunity evaluations and support bid/no-bid decisions with BD and engineering leadership.
• Develop capture strategies and plans for priority opportunities.
• Shape opportunities pre-solicitation through customer engagement and positioning.
• Conduct competitive assessments to define our position.
• Support pricing and teaming strategy development with leadership.
• Attend industry days and customer briefings to collect insights.
