Job summary

Etegent Technologies in Beavercreek, OH is seeking a Capture Manager to lead pre‑RFP capture activities for DoD, IC and commercial markets, with a focus on AI/ML, computer vision and advanced software.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will shape opportunities, engage customers and partners, coordinate pricing and teaming, manage CRM pipeline, and ensure a smooth transition to proposal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in federal business development or capture management.
• Experience supporting DoD and/or Intelligence Community customers.
• Technical background or familiarity with AI/ML, computer vision, software engineering, or advanced analytics.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes.
• Experience shaping opportunities prior to RFP release.
• Proven ability to engage and build trusted relationships with customers and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders and commercial organizations across DoD and IC space.
• Identify and assess new opportunities aligned with company capabilities and growth strategy.
• Conduct market research and monitor programs, funding sources, and acquisition pathways.
• Lead opportunity evaluations and support bid/no-bid decisions with BD and engineering leadership.
• Develop capture strategies and plans for priority opportunities.
• Shape opportunities pre-solicitation through customer engagement and positioning.
• Coordinate pricing and teaming strategy development with leadership.
• Lead engagements with customers, partners, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
