Job summary

Axiom Space in Houston, Texas is seeking a Capture Strategist in BD & Strategic Partnerships to own the end-to-end capture pipeline and coordinate cross-functional inputs through decision gates.

The role centers on pipeline health, CRM configuration, and coordinating stakeholders across Sales, Government Relations, Legal, and business units to advance opportunities. This position reports to the Director of BD & Strategic Partnerships and requires high accountability and execution horsepower.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in science, engineering, computer science, or finance.
• 10+ years in program management, ops, or business development.
• Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Strong judgment and proactive problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end BD pipeline, tracking all active opportunities through the six-phase capture process from market signal detection through operationalization, maintaining clear handoffs with Sales and other functions.
• Own the BD CRM configuration, data integrity, and reporting cadence.
• Maintain revision control and history for changes in customer relationship parameters.
• Produce regular pipeline reviews and status reporting for leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional engagement across BD, Sales, Government Relations, Legal, and business units.
• Manage programmatic elements of active partnerships, including customer docs (RFIs, RFPs, etc.) and reporting of risks and blockers.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, and playbooks for BD processes.
• Support preparation of materials for executive reviews and decision gates.
