Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Captive Implementation Manager to lead new captive implementations and select renewals, coordinating with clients, brokers and regulators. You will drive from upfront engagement through regulatory approval, ensuring accurate submissions to insurance departments and clear case communications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance for financial services and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the insurance for financial services industry.
• Captive insurance experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with clients, advisors, service providers and peers.
• Works well under deadline-driven, high-pressure environments.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Adobe PDF and project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Project manage new captive business implementations and selective renewals.
• Lead the implementation process from engagement to regulatory approval and closing.
• Understand regulatory requirements to ensure timely submissions to DOIs.
• Serve as lead contact for client questions during onboarding.
• Prepare and circulate captive-specific technical documents.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate regulatory requirements to clients and brokers as needed.
• Prepare and submit licensing application packages to Departments of Insurance.
• Manage application process to satisfy all material requirements.
• Maintain case tracking databases and client files.
