Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc is seeking an experienced professional to manage captive insurance implementations and renewal tasks. You will lead end-to-end onboarding, engage with clients and brokers, and coordinate with external providers to keep the implementation critical path on track.

The role requires 5+ years in insurance for financial services, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and project tracking tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the insurance for financial services industry.
• Captive insurance experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent diligence
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, advisors, service providers and peers
• Works well under deadline driven situations and in high‑pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Project manage new captive business implementations and renewal functions, maintaining communication to meet client and broker expectations
• Lead the implementation process for new captive insurance entities from engagement to regulatory approval and formal closing
• Understand regulatory requirements to ensure timely and accurate submissions to the Departments of Insurance
• Operate as the lead point of contact for client questions throughout onboarding
• Provide case-based communication to external service providers, cross-functional teams, and clients to drive case completion
• Prepare, circulate and follow up on captive-specific technical insurance documents
• Review documents to confirm accuracy and completion
• Communicate regulatory requirements to clients and brokers as needed
• Prepare and submit prospective client captive insurance licensing applications to Departments of Insurance
• Manage captive application process to satisfy all material requirements
• Notify or amend submissions for renewal clients and communicate requirements for regulatory submission
• Prepare and submit renewal notifications and amendments to Departments of Insurance as needed
• Maintain case tracking databases and client files
• Complete various projects as assigned
