Job summary

GAF is seeking a Capital Procurement Manager in Ennis, TX to lead procurement for capital projects across engineering, EPC/EPCm, and construction. You will drive contract strategies, negotiate terms, manage timelines, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with risk mitigation.

The role partners with Project Engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders, leveraging ERP tools (Coupa, Maximo, SAP) and continuous improvement to optimize capital spend and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years procurement experience with capital projects.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or industrial cap-procurement.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement fit-for-purpose procurement plans for projects.
• Lead RFI/RFP events and perform technical/commercial evaluations.
• Structure and negotiate construction contracts with risk terms.
• Oversee vendor timelines, logistics, and delivery to prevent delays.
• Coordinate with Engineering and EPC firms to align IP, terms, and best practices.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to optimize spend.
• Resolve supplier disputes and minimize operational/financial risk.
