Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Director of Learning & Strategic Capability Building to translate business strategy into a multi-year capability roadmap and skills architecture. The role will design, build, and measure engaging, multi-modal learning sequences that embed future skills into everyday work and talent practices.

You will lead a team delivering enterprise reskilling for AI and digital work styles, partner with IT and operating units, and measure business outcomes to continuously improve programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning/capability building in a complex multinational
• Translating strategy into enterprise capability frameworks and learning portfolios
• Leading enterprise reskilling and blended learning programs
• Strong use of workforce data and learning analytics
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in a matrixed, multi-country environment

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into a capability roadmap and skills taxonomy.
• Define capability frameworks across units, regions, and functions.
• Forecast future skills using workforce data and external signals.
• Define learning pathways and lead priority programs from concept to delivery.
• Create cross-modal learning solutions (facilitated, digital, blended, on-the-job).
• Embed skills via manager enablement and communities of practice.
• Lead enterprise reskilling for AI and digital work practices.
• Align learning with technology, processes and local delivery.
• Measure outcomes and iterate based on insights.
• Lead a specialist team in skills intelligence and digital capability.
• Partner with stakeholders to align capability priorities.
