Job summary

University of Vermont is seeking a Campus Space Planner to lead the development, management, and implementation of the University’s Operating Procedures for space management. The role includes tracking space requests, reallocations, and ensuring data accuracy across space and landholdings databases.

You will contribute to space surveys, reporting, and coordination with senior leadership, reporting to the Associate Director of Planning in PDC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Five to six years of related experience preferred.
• Planning, collaboration, analytical and communication skills required.
• Experience with space tracking software (Planon, Attain) required.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
• GIS and CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and process space requests and releases.
• Serve on the Space Allocation Advisory Committee to support space reallocations and related procedures.
• Manage the space and landholdings database and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate the annual space survey and related training/setup.
