Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience required.
• Background in design/development incl. architecture, urban planning, space planning, or related fields.
• Ability to balance stakeholder priorities while aligning with BU priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts building code, life safety, and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning for university initiatives, including space utilization and capital asset management.
• Provide space planning and programming expertise for capital projects.
• Coordinate with city/state authorities on permitting and public process.
• Support BU's real estate portfolio management across campuses.
