Job summary

YES Prep in Houston, TX seeks a Secondary Campus Operations Coordinator - Recruitment and Enrollment to support campus enrollment and daily operations. The role reports to the Director of Campus Operations and is a 12-month position with a pay range of $19.86–$23.27 per hour.

The role leads recruitment and enrollment efforts, manages waitlists, coordinates campus events, and ensures compliant onboarding and front office operations throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating enrollment or school operations is preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work with families, campuses and central offices.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead recruitment and enrollment efforts for the campus, liaising between campus personnel and Home Office on lottery issues.
• Offer seats in a timely manner and maintain enrollment year-round.
• Monitor progress toward recruitment goals and adjust strategies as needed.
• Ensure new families are engaged from application through registration and first day of school.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and organizational policies regarding student data.
• Lead onboarding for all new students and families.
• Coordinate campus recruitment strategy and events within a 5-mile radius.
• Maintain a waitlist after lottery with ongoing recruitment activities.
• Build community connections by attending events and fairs; sustain outreach.
• Monitor application quality and mark eligibility promptly.
• Support with staff coverage on PTO and communicate coverage expectations to stakeholders.
• Create materials for guest teachers and maintain front office operations.
