Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Program Manager I to lead a program with responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance. You will manage planning, execution, and resources, using EVMS, CAM, and learning & development programs to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or higher PM experience with demonstrated EVMS/controls competence.
Experience leading programs with cost, schedule, and technical performance accountability.
Strong collaboration across engineering, finance, supply chain, and operations.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain control account plans in accordance with contracts.
Monitor project performance using earned value metrics.
Prepare and analyze variance reports, identifying cost/schedule variances.
Forecast project costs and schedules based on performance data.
Collaborate with project managers, functional managers, and technical leads.
Lead regular status reviews with stakeholders to communicate financial health.
Implement corrective actions to address performance issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and contract requirements.
Coordinate with IPTs and CAMs to manage cost, risk, schedule, and performance.
