Job summary

Modine is seeking a qualified professional to manage purchasing and material planning for daily production needs. You will leverage SAP and related tools to ensure on-time component delivery while optimizing supplier relationships and inter-company transfers.

The role requires independence and critical decision-making to support plant operations. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in Purchasing/Procurement, strong MS Office skills, and experience with MRP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 5-10 years in Purchasing/Procurement ( MP&L ).
• Microsoft Office preferably in Materials Management, Business or Accounting.
• Must have good computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft office, experience working with MRP.
• Experience with SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, materials requirements planning, and supplier relationships.
• Develop and execute material strategies meeting customer requirements and company targets.
• Maintain inventory levels aligned with production schedules and directives.
• Incumbent will work with Corporate Purchasing, maximizing SAP in supporting customers, suppliers and inter-company transfer of parts.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and be in constant communications with them; prepare material requisitions and orders with approved suppliers.
