Job summary

PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking an experienced procurement professional to own end-to-end buying of direct materials and services for production. You will drive MRP-driven purchasing, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing costs.

The role requires strong SAP and Excel skills, analytical capabilities, and a disciplined approach to inventory and supplier management in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of direct materials buying experience in manufacturing.
• Strong MRP and SAP expertise.
• Excellent Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and procurement policies.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end buying of direct materials and services for production.
• Serve as liaison among internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Review requisitions, evaluate bids, and issue purchase orders.
• Execute MRP-driven purchasing with discipline and follow-through.
• Support sourcing for new product introductions and sustaining products.
• Plan and execute last-time buys for end-of-life items.
• Monitor on-time delivery, inventory health, and price variance.
• Maintain standard costs for components and materials.
• Participate in supplier negotiation and performance reviews.
