Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a qualified Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage material requirements, supplier relationships, and on-time delivery to support daily production schedules in Grand Prairie, TX. The role uses SAP and MRP to track requirements and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components.

The position requires 5–10 years in purchasing/procurement, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and strong MS Office/MRP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree preferred.
• 5-10 years in Purchasing/Procurement (MP&L).
• Microsoft Office preferably in Materials Management, Business or Accounting.
• Must have good computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office, experience working with MRP.
• Experience with SAP is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, materials requirements planning, supplier relationship management.
• Develop and execute material strategies that meet customer requirements, company targets and create stability across the supply chain.
• Maintain inventory levels for productive material in line with production schedules and directives.
• Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing, maximize SAP to support customers, suppliers and inter-company transfers of parts.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers; issue material requisitions and orders with approved suppliers according to specs, quantities, pricing, due dates and shipping information.
