Bystronic Group in Hoffman Estates, IL, seeks a Buyer/Planner I to manage material procurement and planning for timely, cost-effective production. You will maintain inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers, using SAP and Excel for master data across all parts.

Responsibilities include issuing POs from MRP data, monitoring safety stock, negotiating terms, tracking orders, and supporting cost savings initiatives. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in purchasing preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a purchasing role or equivalent education.
• Experience using SAP and Excel for master data and procurement workflows.

Responsabilités

• Review MRP data to issue purchase orders and maintain inventory levels.
• Negotiate terms, lead times, and pricing with suppliers; monitor deliveries.
• Track orders, address delays, and resolve discrepancies; support sourcing with RFQs.
• Maintain accurate ERP data and collaborate with Production, Quality and Warehouse.
