Responsibilities

• Advise on supplier selection to balance cost and quality.
• Negotiate lowest possible cost while meeting quality and schedule.
• Implement purchase contracts compliant with regulations.
• Ensure on-time delivery at negotiated price and quality.
• Maintain orders, notices, and records for MRPs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to meet production schedules.
• Assist sales with delivery dates and commitments.
• Monitor inventory and lead times; manage obsolete material.
