Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a mid-level Buyer/Planner for a 6-month contract on W2 with 40 hours/week. The role offers a $20–$25 per hour pay rate. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
• APICS CPIM certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Identify and procure goods and services to maintain production continuity.
• Solicit quotes, issue contracts, review requisitions, and release POs.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure just-in-time delivery.
• Negotiate to avoid PPV and manage PPV above $5k.
• Improve supplier relationships and performance.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement to boost purchasing productivity.
