Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a Buyer/Planner 3 for a 12+ month contract in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on procuring goods, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring continuous production through effective Kanban and JIT processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in purchasing/planning, strong SAP/MRP skills, and excellent communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers. This on-site position includes a 40-hour work week and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing/planning experience.
• Experience with SAP and MRP to plan and place POs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Suppliers and Stakeholders.
• Understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and PPV avoidance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and procure goods and services at fair pricing to support production lines.
• Solicit quotes, issue annual contracts based on forecast, release POs.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure JIT delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers to avoid PPV and flag potential PPV > $25k.
