Sub-Zero, Inc. in Madison, WI seeks a Buyer/Planner to balance materials supply with demand, supporting the master production schedule and inventory turnover. You will negotiate with suppliers, analyze variances, and maintain data accuracy for lead times and stock levels.

Growth and development are emphasized; you may advance toward leadership or technical expert tracks while contributing to cross-functional initiatives and supplier quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint experience.
• Team player and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Balance supply of purchased and fabricated materials with demand to meet goals.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best price and service guarantees.
• Issue purchase orders/releases to support the master production schedule.
• Expedite/de-expedite orders per production/customer demand.
• Maintain system data integrity including lead times and safety stock.
• Identify supply shortages and develop alternative plans.
• Support supplier quality initiatives and project-related work.
• Lead or participate in special projects per management.
