Job summary

Sub-Zero Group, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Buyer/Planner to balance supply with demand, manage the master production schedule, and drive inventory turns.

You will negotiate with suppliers, issue purchase orders, analyze material requirements, and coordinate with production to support the schedule. This position offers growth, autonomy, and a chance to contribute to a family-owned leader in luxury appliances.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement and planning to balance supply and demand.
• Ability to analyze material requirements and manage POs/production orders.
• Collaboration with production and other departments to resolve data discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers for goods and services and analyze purchasing variances.
• Support supplier quality improvement initiatives and supplier quality returns.
• Analyze material requirements and issue purchase orders to support the master production schedule.
• Expedite/de-expedite orders to match production/customer demand.
• Maintain system data integrity including lead times, orders, and safety stock.
• Communicate shortages and develop alternative plans.
• Execute inventory reduction plans to increase turnover.
• Complete special projects as assigned by Directors.
• Develop standard costs based on market/economic factors.
• Conduct on-site supplier facility reviews to assess qualifications.
• Execute/communicate Engineering changes to the production floor.
