Job summary

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, the leading luxury kitchen appliance manufacturer, seeks a Buyer/Planner in Goodyear, AZ to balance supply with demand and drive inventory efficiency.

The role involves negotiating with suppliers, issuing releases, expediting orders, and maintaining data integrity in the MRP system. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires strong attention to detail and teamwork across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Three years of materials-related experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of an MRP system.
• Bachelors degree or higher in Supply Chain or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers for goods and services and explain purchasing variances.
• Support supplier quality initiatives and supplier quality returns.
• Analyze material requirements and issue PO releases to support the MPS.
• Expedite and de-expedite orders per production/customer demand.
• Maintain system data integrity for quantities, lead times, safety stock, and supplier dates.
• Communicate shortages to enable alternate plans and drive inventory turnover.
