Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC is hiring a Buyer to join the Selma, Alabama team. You will handle purchasing and materials planning, working under moderate supervision to ensure best value, on-time delivery, and quality for production materials.

The role requires strong ERP skills (JDE), supplier negotiations, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to support new product launches and cost-saving initiatives. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with 3+ years in supply chain.
• Professional supply chain certification or working towards (CPIM, CPSM).

Responsibilities

• Enter and update supply chain data in JDE ERP.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Support new product launches via Stage Gate process.
• Manage inventory to align with company objectives.
• Prepare forecasts and supplier performance reports.
