Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC is seeking a Buyer to join the Alamo Group Ag Americas Team in Selma, Alabama. The role combines purchasing and materials planning to support profitability, inventory turnover and delivery performance.

You will work under supervision to source materials, negotiate terms, and ensure accurate data in the JDE ERP system while supporting new product launches and supplier quality actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in supply chain purchasing/scheduling.
• Professional supply chain certification or in-progress (CPIM, CPSM).

Responsibilities

• Enter and update supply chain data in the JDE ERP system.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and freight with suppliers.
• Support production meetings and coordinate with planners for on-time launches.
