Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Buyer who, under close supervision, will prepare purchase orders, analyze quotations, and arrange timely deliveries of assigned items, supplies, materials and services. You will plan assortments, negotiate with suppliers, review inventory parameters, and maintain strong supplier relationships to support the purchasing function across the company.

Responsibilities

• Procure products from predefined suppliers.
• Review inventory recommendations and fill customer orders.
• Review inventory parameters and adjust as needed.
• Update stock requirements and vendor returns.
• Stay informed on pricing, quotes and promotions for assigned lines.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and invoice mismatches.
• Maintain strong supplier and manufacturer relationships.
• Provide support to the purchasing department and related units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
