Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Buyer to support purchasing across multiple locations in Salisbury, NC; Eden, NC; Oldsmar, FL; and Eden Prairie, MN. Under supervision, you will procure items, review inventory, and coordinate deliveries to fulfill customer orders while collaborating with various teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong math skills, and the ability to multi-task in a team environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Procures products from a predefined list of suppliers.
• Reviews inventory recommendations and product needs to fill customer orders.
• Reviews inventory parameters regularly and updates them as needed.
• Updates committed stock requirements and requests new items.
• Reviews overstock and manages vendor returns.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturer reps.
• Provides global services in support of the purchasing department and unit as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
