Motion Industries in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Strategic Supply Chain Analyst to own and manage a core group of strategic suppliers. You will oversee purchasing, supplier performance, pricing negotiations, and master data integrity to drive growth and efficiency.

The role involves RFQ management, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with marketing and product managers to support new product launches and phase-outs. A strong data mindset and ERP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred.
• Experience in forecasting, inventory management and leading teams desired.
• Ability to handle data-analysis projects and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert supplier requisitions and process purchase orders, expediting as needed.
• Acquire vendor data such as lead times, pricing, and shipping dates; update master data.
• Manage RFQs and mentor cross-functional staff in quoting processes.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, terms, and rebates.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with accounting and logistics.
