Alamo Group Ag Americas, LLC is seeking a Buyer II to support purchasing and materials planning for Bush Hog, RhinoAg, and Dixie Chopper brands in Selma, Alabama. The role focuses on cost, delivery, and quality, with responsibility for sourcing, supplier relations, and coordinating with production teams to ensure timely, cost-effective material flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing supply chain experience.
• Professional supply chain certification or working toward (CPIM, CPSM).

Responsibilities

• Focus, communicate, and contribute to Safety in all aspects of the job.
• Enter and update supply chain data into the JDE ERP system and manage reports.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers; obtain approvals before awarding.
• Ensure supplier pricing and information are up to date in the ERP system.
• Identify alternative suppliers and market test commodities; forecast long-term needs.
• Coordinate launches of new products with Stage Gate and ISIR where required.
