SGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a qualified procurement professional to manage materials sourcing and vendor relations in a fast-paced MRP environment. The role focuses on purchasing components, PCBs, mechanicals, and related services, ensuring availability aligned with forecasts.

The successful candidate will drive supplier negotiations, maintain data integrity, and support lean manufacturing and CI initiatives while collaborating with Engineering and Operations teams.

Competenze

• Accredited four-year degree or diploma in business or supply chain management.
• Minimum of 5 years supply chain experience in an MRP environment.

Mansioni

• Prepare and manage RFP/RFQ proposals, purchase agreements, and statements of work.
• Evaluate supplier quotes for products and services to select key suppliers, assuring quality, delivery, lead time and payment terms.
• Conduct supplier assessments and audits to ensure capability in required areas.
• Ensure product availability based on sales forecasting by reviewing MRP forecasting and planning messages.
• Place and manage purchase orders with external suppliers and service providers.
• Establish clear expectations with vendors and maintain honest relationships.
• Negotiate cost savings and lead times.
• Communicate with vendors regarding ordering, debits, chargebacks, freight terms, and order status.
• Support on-time delivery, quality and profitability for manufactured simulated product lines.
• Support lean manufacturing flow and CI initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Management/Engineering to obtain item masters and specs.
• Recommend improvements to purchasing, scheduling and inventory procedures.
• Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies; process RMAs and resolve quality issues.
• Suggest inventory reduction initiatives.
• Report commodity/vendor KPIs internally and to vendors.
• Maintain accurate system data for pricing and lead times.

Formazione
