Globalchannelmanagement in Connecticut is seeking a qualified buyer with 3–5 years of experience in purchasing functions to develop production plans and optimize inventory. You will manage ERP/MRP workflows, including SAP or MES, and coordinate with procurement to align materials with schedules.

Applicants should be proficient with MS Excel/SQL, analyze supplier performance, and drive on-time delivery while reducing waste and costs across production.

Competenze

• 3–5 years of experience in buyer and purchasing functions.
• Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel/SQL.
• Experience with purchasing and production-related scheduling, including lead times, payments, air shipping, and working with distributors.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery).

• Develop weekly/monthly production plans and schedules, aligning manufacturing activities with sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock, reducing excess while preventing shortages of raw materials and finished goods.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, MES) to release manufacturing orders and manage inventory records.
