You will review quotations, solicit bids, analyze responses, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery to meet cost and schedule requirements. This role emphasizes supplier evaluation, compliance with FAR and company policies, and coordination with project personnel, customers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business administration or related discipline; equivalent professional purchasing experience may be substituted.
• Understanding of purchasing concepts and FAR/government rules and regulations; experience applying them.
• Customer-focused with ability to provide solutions to purchasing problems; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to organize, schedule and coordinate multiple work phases; strong computer skills; SAP experience desirable.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable government regulations.
• Compile and analyze data to determine feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives.
• Identify, develop and select qualified suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier reliability and performance.
• Coordinate competitive and sole source procurements to meet purchase dates and document support.
• Participate in intermediate procurement negotiations on terms, prices, and schedules.
• Participate in cost and pricing reviews with program management.
• Follow up and negotiate delivery and supplier performance changes.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Represent organization as primary purchasing contact on small contracts/subcontracts.
