Job summary

The position involves negotiating subcontracts, advising management on contractual obligations, and participating in cost and pricing reviews with program management and customers. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with emphasis in supply chain management, contract administration, or related discipline; 15+ years of progressive experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of acquisition principles, theories, concepts, and regulations.
• Ability to counsel management, lead development of concepts, and coordinate multiple work phases.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and leadership skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Working knowledge of SAP desirable; ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, analyzes and evaluates bids and proposals.
• Identifies subcontract issues and develops solutions.
• Leads negotiations and amendments to subcontracts.
• Reviews drafts and negotiates NDAs and teaming agreements.
• Advises management on contractual rights and obligations.
