Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA seeks a Manager Business Management 2 for the B-21 Program. This onsite leadership role oversees cost management, scheduling, and financial planning, coordinating with Program Office and IPTs to ensure accurate reporting to leadership.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance/business management, is able to obtain SAP clearance, and holds an active DoD clearance or is in Continuous Evaluation. 10% travel expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years finance/business management experience, or Master’s degree with 5 years, or PhD with 3 years finance/business management experience
• Experience developing and managing financial goals and overseeing monthly financial reporting
• Experience developing and presenting business strategies, financial information, and risk assessments to leadership teams
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions
• Must be able to obtain and maintain SAP (Special Access Program) clearance
• Must have active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance (or Continuous Evaluation)
• Ability to travel 10% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead business management functions including cost management, scheduling, pricing and estimating, and financial planning to execute program goals
• Partner with Program Office and IPTs to manage Estimate at Complete and provide business analysis to meet milestones
• Ensure contractual and financial compliance with contract requirements and regulations
• Support proposal development, shaping, fact-finding, and negotiations to position the program for growth
• Leverage Business Management tools, databases, and processes to manage the business
• Solve problems quickly without sacrificing cost, schedule, or quality
• Maintain uncompromising quality, accountability, and achievement of financial goals
