Job summary

BluRoc is seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist to support growth in utility, infrastructure, and energy markets. The role centers on opportunity coordination, RFP tracking, customer follow-up, and cross-team collaboration with estimating, operations, and leadership.

You will manage relationships, monitor portals, prepare proposals and capability statements, and help maintain CRM records. Travel occasional; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Ability to research utilities, contractors, and market developments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects via phone and email.
• Coordinate introductory meetings, presentations, visits, and follow-ups.
• Prepare meeting agendas, opportunity summaries, and talking points.
• Document meeting notes, commitments, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor RFPs, bid platforms, and procurement channels for opportunities.
• Maintain organized calendar of RFPs, proposals, interviews, and follow-ups.
• Prepare weekly pipeline, activity, and customer-engagement reports.
• Assist forecasting by geography, project type, and construction timeline.
