Symons Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to grow and protect key customer relationships across the production homebuilding and multifamily construction markets.

You will expand existing accounts, develop new business, identify projects early in the development cycle, and build a qualified sales pipeline across San Diego and Orange County. Collaboration with Estimating, Operations, Project Management, Design, and Field Leadership will

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of sales or business development in construction trades.
• Knowledge of fire protection industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and decision makers.
• Develop strategic account plans and expand existing accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage a structured pipeline.
• Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, Project Management, Design and Field Leadership.
• Support bid processes, pricing considerations, and post-bid handoffs.
• Track and report pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and drive growth.
